Now days all Riley does is take time to create quality music and expand his roster of authors to include friends that also create quality posts.

Who else longs for the days where Riley would post MineCraft updates and origami pictures. Total Drama: Rileys Backpack Style fell by the wayside as new authors joined and Free Lunch, Poetry, and *shudders* Life and You became prevalent. Moo and other cow noises stopped as like begging started as rileys backpack fell from glory.

And who knows where it ends? One day it might just become Riley’s Backpack (with apostrophe).

So where this decline start?

I think the beginning of the end was when James Blonde joined the blog. Almost immediately he began to engage with readers, start side, projects, and try to out pace the original author Riley. As more authors filled out the roster the posts have gotten better written and better reviewed.

When we used to come to rileysbackpack.wordpress.com we didn’t want some obnoxious podcast logo, some great music and podcasts, and a commercialized .com. We wanted the counter-culture minecraft, origami, and dum cheese we all knew and loved with a .wordpress proudly in the middle!

.In conclusion, I don’t read rileys backpack anymore and you shouldn’t either.

Out with the news, in with the mOOOOOs.

So I’ve been on kind of a satire writing kick and I don’t know if people actually get/want it. So comment if you would like mixed in satirical, parody, or sketch-like posts. Or maybe you would prefer just my schedule. Just comment.

For the record, we are actually only at 299 followers, so i’m not sure why Jamie put out that post saying we were at 300 lol.

But for the amazing milestone of 299, I’ve noticed something amazing. Today, go and check your computer to see what the date is. It will say 1/1/17, in meaning how 1+1+17*15.7368421053=299. Isn’t that a crazy coincidence, that OUR blog is at 299 followers, and that simple math sentence of the date equals 299?

Heheh, horrible jokes aside, thanks for bringing me this far guys.

Writing The Longest Post Of ALL TIME!!

For those of you who don’t remember back when I started this in May, I decided I was going to write the longest post on Rileys Backpack yet. As of finishing this prologue right now, the final word count is 2134.

So that’s right, you read me. Today we are going to see if we can write the longest post of all time about everything I can scour my brain to write about while I’m doing this.. So let’s start, the time is 12:37, and I’m in Math Class. We were doing Map Testing but I finished it yesterday.

So.

Now I pretty much have the entire period to do whatever it is I wish to do.

I’ve been thinking and I’m wondering if there is any website you can use that is specifically geared towards writers featuring their writings live, like as they type it their followers can watch the page, see them develop ideas and such. Anyways I just thought it would be kind of cool. NEXT!!

So I’ve been practicing a lot of soccer after school now, and I figured out a way to build your stamina each day magnificently! I call it, the Cheestamina Effect!! Which sounds incredibly stupid because I just came up with it on the spot. Wait, scratch that name, let’s just call it “the thing from the swamp”. I’ve been using the thing from the swamp to help improve my stamina greatly. So here’s how the thing from the swamp works. I have a big back and front yard. I measured a distance from a telephone pole to a fence and its 90 feet (or 30 meters [pretty much]) So basically one run from the telephone pole and to the fence and back is one lap. For someone who was previously so unfit (such as myself), you have to start with a small number, like 7 or 9. So run that, then the next day run one more lap than before. Then one more the next. And so on. I’m at a really high number, so most days im running the equivalent of half a mile. Think about it. There and back is 180 feet, and a mile is 5210. So running only 14 is 2520, which is only a bit off of a half a mile. So if you do this, after a couple of days of stopping eating junk food and running with this system, you’ll be as fit as a fiddle. NEXT!!!!

I don’t know if I have mentioned this yet, but I am reading the Maze Runner series, and I’m on the Kill Order. I’m not going to spoil it, but all I have to say is (Spoiler Alert—– WHY DOES NEWT HAVE TO DIE ;-;—– Spoiler Alert) Sorry if you saw that before reading the spoiler alert. *sobs* I didn’t care about all the other people who die. NEXT!!

So a while ago me and my brother and sister started watching the show Lost, which is a drama about people who crash on a mysterious island. There are a ton of really interesting characters, and the best part about it is all the plot twists. In every season there is something new to fret about. The Others (the island’s natives)! The Hatch (4 8 15 16 23 42)! Charles Whitmore (Evil billionaire)!

That’s 500 Words.

And here’s another spoiler.. Up ahead… I highly recommend that if you haven’t seen the show you steer clear of the next sentence. I’m serious. Stop reading. I want you to watch the show and if you keep reading this you will never be able to enjoy it. Last warning. Why does Charlie have to die?? He could have just waltzed out, closed the stupid door and told Desmond himself that it’s not her boat. It was meaningless death! WHYY!!!

I’m getting a bit tired of typing, I’ve been doing this for a good 20 minutes and i’m going to just continue this later. Also in the mean time i’ll post something about advertising in this post. Yea so there ya go Brandoboy. Today I’m going to be talking about absolutely nothing. I’m getting a bit (AKA EXTREMELY) bored of writing this. I feel like I should just import some material from before, but I can’t do that cause this has to be brand new writing. As you all know, I used to avidly play Minespud (a minecraft server with bending). The reason I stopped posting about it isn’t good. The server shut down and now I have nothing to do on minecraft, and because of this, I’ve pretty much stopped playing it for the time being. If any of you can think of a server I can play with factions and that isn’t too big, please recommend it in the comments below. Of course most of you won’t ever actually read this because your just going to read the top of the page, scroll waaaaay down to the bottom, and say “Oh yea I read it all!”. So if you actually read this bit in the middle, then say so by typing “Just 2 More” in the comments. Dang that’s 900 I’m getting reaaaaaal tired of writing this post.

I think i’ll go to a thousand and then stop for today. So. Clash of Clans. In this game, the clan Polar Cheese still thrives and we are getting really good at war. We are on a war win streak of 4 right now, and we are presently wrecking the next clan so soon it will be at 5. I’ve set up a new system to show who is the most important, War MVP and Donating Champ. I continuously win Donating Champ, and I try to pass around War MVP. That’s 1014 and I’m signing off for today. The time is 11:33.

I’m back, and it’s June 4th at 10:58 PM. I should probably be sleeping though. I’m on a pretty big losing streak on Clash Royale. But aside from that I’m in South Carolina right now, the night before the family reunion where there’s tons of food and family! I’m staying at my Great-Uncles house, and there’s wifi and cable 😌 xD. But yea there’s not much to talk about anymore. The dog that’s in this house starting freaking out earlier barking and he woke my brother and sister up. Such loudness :P. But he went to my moms room so were good now. I’m getting tired so I’m gone for now, cya signing off at 11:02!!

It’s now August 13th, i’m just here to add some to this forever going project. I plan to stop once we hit 5,000 words. But hey, thats probably not going to happen until next year. At the moment, I am working on LOTE (Land of The Elves). I’ve got the story and everything down, and by the time this post comes out, the game might be finished xD. Jamie has Undertale on his computer, we are doing Pacifist, and last night we got past Papyrus! Then we dated him..

My current interests are Twenty One Pilots, Undertale, Rileys Backpack, and jacksepticeye. On Pokemon Go, I am level 16, and my best current pokemon is a 1095 Vaporeon. Brendan is working on music for LOTE, and i’m about to go get a sandwhich. I’m getting ready to delete some pages, cause they are irrelevant. Pages like Video Games (And Other Games), and Clash of Clans War Records. I might restart War Records later once I have more war stuff to talk about. At the moment, our clan has a war win streak of 2 and it’s about to be 3 :D.

Welp, i’ll be back in a bit after my sandwich. I’m going to let my sister type in PINK.

3:50 August 13th. Here’s some LOTE details. Beware, kinda spoilers.

Area 1 is the House

In Area 1, you are Inside a house with thunderstorms raging outside, and your brother talking to you about how bored he is. He is younger than you , and his name is Prosper. He laughs, telling you he would find something to do. When he walks out of the room, the game explains the controls. On the wall is a drawing of Dum Cheese. The closet is full of clothes. There are two beds in the room, one is messy and one is clean. If you try to interact with the bed, you hear a growl. The hallway is mostly empty, aside from the blue rainbow painting. There are three doors, one leads to the kitchen, one to the basement, and one with Prospers speech bubble coming from, which is the bedroom. You are able to explore the house, but the basement door is locked. The key is hidden in a kitchen drawer, but the basement only holds a pingpong table, with a note on top and two paddles. To read note please see A1N1. The paddles can be picked up. If you go into the basement then leave, Prosper yells for you again, this time saying, ‘Hurry Up! What are you doing that’s so important??’

If you go back into the kitchen, in the drawer next to the oven, there is a totally dark photograph. For more information on that see A1P1. Also, stuck to the fridge is a note, which you can find more about at in A1N2. Once you (FINALLY) go into the next bedroom that Prosper is in, you see him making a suprised face at an elf who popped out of the sheets of the bed. He starts to talk in a language you don’t understand, and draws a blade, although he looks nervous about using it. Prosper backs away slowly, and you are given an option to fight him, offer him your lollipop, or back away. If you fight him, combat begins. If you offer him the lollipop, he grins in delight and crawls back under the covers. If you back away, he walks towards you uttering the same strange tounge, and you are forced into combat. Once you either defeat him, or bribe him away, your brother Prosper jumps into the bed and disappears under the covers. If you stay in the room for more than 30 seconds, once you go in, he asks what took you so long. You can either stay silent or say I was scared.

End of Area 1. Continue in Area 2.

That puts us at nearly 2000 words so far. Cya later…

It’s 3:24 August 26th. Looking back at that LOTE thing I put down, I kinda regret doing that, because this is posting sooner than one might think. But it’s not going to matter anyways because it’s gonna be a really long time until LOTE actually comes out. I mean, it doesn’t make any difference anyways, because nothing is really important in Area 1. Area 2 however..

I just wanna put this at 2,000 words, schedule it for next week and move on. I’m at 1970. Keep talking. Just gotta finish this strong! agh I have nothing to say to you. SAVE ME PINK FLUFFY UNICORNS!!

AND WE DID IT WERE AT SOME NUMBER ABOVE 2000. I feel bad about this because I look in my reader and see some of my writer friends do like 12,000 words in a post, which is insane, at least for me.

Schedule Changes

Hello there merfolk, today i’m going to be telling you ALL ABOUT the new schedule changes coming to this marvelous place we call Rileys Backpack. I’ve decided to be a bit more organized, so as you have probably deducted, i’m making a scheduleish thing. Which you can see in more detail, HERE!

But i’ll be going over it briefly here, so you can just read on if your not the type of person to enjoy details. I know I haven’t been posting Food World for a while, so i’m going back into that, and it’ll get posted every Monday, giving me time to come up with a punchline that’s not crap, and giving you time to enjoy everything else. Tuesday has no definite posts on it, so expect either Pokemon Go, Clash of Clans, or some other game. On Wednesday, you get your scheduled LOTE Update for the week. There may be other posts about LOTE in the week, though that is the only one for sure. On Thursday, I have nothing PLANNED, but James Blonde does, with Wild Card Thursdays. And once you get to Friday, we have Free Lunch. On the weekends I may or may not post 😀

How do you make a game? Well the last thing you should do, is start with the soundtrack. Which I did. The game is called Land of The Elves and I already have most of the first level written. But here’s the hard part.

I would copy and paste the story here from my phone, but for the first time in forever i’m on a computer, so yea. I’ll just give you a sneak peek. Two brothers discover a place under their bed’s during a bad storm,  because an Elf crawls outta there..

Yea. That’s the small first level story. I think I might have one brother kidnapped by elves halfway through to give the main character something to do. Also, all the pixel drawn people that Brendan and Saoirse made look weeeeeeeeeeeeird. I could use some help with how to actually transfer this into video game form, so if anyone knows any famous RPG maker people who work for free, tell me lol. Wait.. Brendan is flipping out demanding I remove that weeeeeeeeeeeeeeird sentence. Nope. It’s weird in a good way Brendan..

Like, how do I create a game with easy-to-use controls, a beautiful landscape, interesting and new characters, a quest that doesn’t get old after 20 minutes, and a good story, without knowing how to code, or, in that section, knowing anything about creating video games. Now i’m being cut off by my mom, who is saying I’ve been on the laptop for hours. Which isn’t true, but you have to pay attention to your parents cause they feed you..

For the first question, I think the deepest thought I’ve ever thought was sonder, which is the realization that every passerby has a life as complicated as your own.

Second question is difficult, because I have a hard time deciding whether or not to be a Pidgeot or a Zapados. Oh wait you mean REAL animals heh.. I’d be a Bluejay, so I could fly high and be admired by people like me who sometimes want to fly. Plus I would get to be more like Mordecai from Regular Show.

And the third question, where I get to choose what to delete from the world, I choose to get rid of the idea of discrimination. Because reguardless of color, gender, or how much money you have, everyone deserves to be treated like a human being. How would you like it if you looked slightly different than everyone around you, and because of the WAY YOU WERE BORN, people might not want to be your friend, or they might not give you an equal job oppritunity. There are a lot of horrible people in the world, don’t become one by discriminating against anyone. If theres an unpopular kid in your class, befriend them. If you have a poor neighbor close to you, share at least a kind word everyday and I guarantee he will be a little bit richer, emotionally. Don’t be a racist, or a homophobe, or a stereotyper. Don’t discriminate.

900th post!!

Were on our 900th post. That means that sometime in the next couple months we will hit 1000 posts. That’s only if I remember to post every other day.

Well yesterday I had track again, we only did 15 of the stair laps. But to make up for that, he sent us out to the soccer field and told us to run 10 laps.

Turns out 10 laps is a lot more than I thought it was. I had to take a couple breaks, but I looked at my friend Harry’s fitness watch, he ran 2.3 miles, and I ran 1.5. So my legs were super sore after that, so of course it was stretch time.

Now for the Polar Cheese news! So our clan is really getting better, were attracting more and more people. Even though we lost the last 3 wars, spirits are high and we are up against a Level One clan this time so it should be really easy to beat them. Also their bases are very weak against hog attacks, as I can see where the giant bombs will be easily.

I haven’t really had the time to play Minecraft on my computer a lot lately, but I have been playing Terraria on my iPad. I have my Titanium sword and full Mytrhil armor. At the moment, I’m waiting for a Solar Eclipse so I can get a Broken Hero’s sword, so I can get a True Night’s Edge!

Since it’s the 900th post, I’m trying to cram everything I can into this, even though I don’t have much news since my last post. Although last night I did redownload Pencil, which is an animation program that I used to make my other Dum Cheese cartoons, which unfortunately got lost when I deleted most of my YouTube videos. Soon i’ll have some more animation to share with you guys, but for now its just a yellow square waving his arms around in a loop xD

Also on the YouTube channel, I’ll be posting some of the Redstone Minecraft videos that I make when I don’t have internet at my house.

I know this post has kinda been all over the place, but I wrote it all down because I could!

Dum Cheese Storytime!

Once upon a time, there lived a Dum Cheese in a little village beside The Big Apple.

And he didn’t like all the pollution and noise that came from the city, so one day he brought a Protesting sign that told all the city people to stop being jerks to nature.

And after the people inside the city didn’t respond after 3 days, the Cheese’s took it to a higher level!

HE BECAME SUPPPER CHEESE! He charged the apple and it exploded into a thousand pieces.

Weird Dreams #3: Friendship isn’t Magic

So, in this dream, it was kind of like a mixture of two worlds, and I was there too. The cause of this dream is probably me trying to concentrate on the Harry Potter books, while at the same time my sister watches My Little Pony next to me. Well anyways, lets start.

First thing that happened that I can remember now is a bunch of wizards and ponies were at someone’s funeral. Everyone was super sad and I think it might have been Dumbledore’s. But onward into the dream! After the funeral, Me, Remus Lupin, and all the main ponies from the show, were walking down a street in London, when a giant Karkaroff (Durmstrang Headmaster) appeared in the sky, and proclaimed he was the new president of the world. Right after that, all the ponies ran off, and me and Lupin went to sleep. But when we woke up, we were in America, by a big prison. We immediately knew it was Azkaban, even though it wasn’t. We walked by and everything became blocks like Minecraft, but it seemed like no one noticed, and we kept walking towards the back of the prison. Once we got there, we could see all the windows with bars on them and we could see the prisoners. We looked around for a little bit, and we found Sirius Black. It was then that I realized I was Harry Potter, but It wouldn’t matter anymore. My soul or whatever left that place and went to the ponies, but everything was now in MLP style. They were talking about making a Timelord charm or something and the pink one started teleporting around asking random townspeople if she could have a Timelord charm.

At that point, I woke up and said “Hey! I should write this stuff down!”

The Iron Boy Adventures: Chapter One: Books

Iron Boy was about to go into the publishing business and get his first book out into the world. But first, he needed to get past the maze that the evil authors created. He shot through the deserted hallways and finally got to the main office. The secretary glanced up and said, “Hello sir, can I help you?” Iron Boy immediately punched the old lady in the nose and her mask fell off. It was a him! “MWAAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA!” said The Editor, one of the evil authors. Iron Boy rocketed straight into him, knowing that his power was to change things. As soon as he could get up, the Editor started changing Iron Boy’s suit into a Pink Bunny Suit. “NUUU MY SUIT” yelled Iron Boy. So he rolled out and took The Editors Revising Pen, the source of his power. He changed the suit back into his suit and tied up The Editor. Right then, over the intercom of the large business, he heard the leader of the group, The Librarian, disclosing their location. Iron Boy deactivated his thrusters, hoping to get them from behind. He inched closer and closer to the office they had named, he jumped in and there was a fluffy bunny sitting in an otherwise plain room. “No! It’s A Trap!” Iron Boy frantically yelled as the multiple authors overwhelmed him from all directions. The last thing he remembered was The Librarian saying something about Cheese.

By the way, this was for school so don’t expect my best…
